Sussex local Annabelle Pridger was crowned the winner of the Best Dressed Guest competition at the Longines Royal International Horse Show today (Saturday 30 July).
Annabelle, 24, took the top prize of a luxury spa break at Ockenden Manor Hotel & Spa. She caught the eye of the judges in her elegant floral jumpsuit combined with a navy hat. “This outfit was actually a great second hand find from Depop that I have had for a couple of years and I just love it, and I stole my mum's hat for today!” she said.
Ten finalists were brought in for the final judging in the Longines International Arena shortly before the start of the Queen Elizabeth II Cup, before the judges selected Annabelle as the winner. “It was such a shock, we were coming along so we thought we'd dress up for the day but I never thought I'd win. It has been lovely today,” she added.
Second placed Valerie Luton won a stay at South Lodge, an Exclusive Hotel & Spa, while third place went to Charlotte Hallett, who won a tasting menu for two at Due South Restaurant in Brighton.
Each of the 10 finalists was presented with a beautiful bouquet of flowers from Cottage Flowers in Haywards Heath.
Next year's Ladies' Day will take place on Saturday 29 July 2023.
