Style Saturday 6A

Sustainable fashion was the order of the day on Style Saturday, with second hand and vintage outfits claiming the top spots in the best dressed guest competition.

First prize went to Natasha Edwards, Assistant Tax Manager, who won a luxury spa break at stay at Ockenden Manor Hotel & Spa. Natasha's maroon outfit was created by putting together various second hand items she had collected over the years. Her dress was a charity shop find from Phase Eight, while her hat was from Amour on Etsy, and shoes came from Hobbs.

The runner-up was Isabella Camburn, an equine vet who is a regular competitor at Hickstead. Isabella created a look from some of the leading high street brands, with shoes from Marks & Spencer, a dress from Monsoon, a bag from Dune and a stylish matching hat bought from Facebook Marketplace. Isabella won a stay at South Lodge Hotel, including spa access and dinner for two.

Third placed architect Grant Clifford is the first male to reach the Best Dressed podium at Hickstead, after the rebranding of the traditional Ladies' Day to 'Style Saturday', which was open to both men and women. Hickstead first-timer Grant dressed to impress with a blazer and shoes bought from a vintage store, paired with M&S slacks and a Thomas Harding shirt. His prize was a tour and tasting at the Highweald Wine vineyard.

All three finalists were treated to a beautiful bouquet from Cottage Flowers.
